Exposure Visit and Picnic Organised for Divyang Students
With the efforts and financial contributions of all the Teacher and Staff of both Special Schools, an Exposure Visit was organised on 5th February 2025 for the Students with Special Needs of Louise Braille School for the Blind .and Rajadhani School for the Deaf, counting to 170 PwD students. The event was also supported by the Teacher Trainees of Sri Jagannath Institute of Special Education and Sainath Institute of Special Education. The students had visited historical Konark Temple and Archeological Museum and made it to acquaint themselves with the guidance of Special Educators and local guides about the rich cultural heritage, history, architectural excellence of 13th century monument. The detailed story behind the construction of the Sun Temple and how it was ruined during British rule was enumerated to the students. It was a overwhelming moment for the PwD students to visit mesmerising historical site. Thereafter the students also visited Archeological Museum too. Students were also visited sites like Chandrabhaga beach and Ramachandi Temple. This was a picnic cum exposure visit that the students enjoyed with joy, fun alongside gaining knowledge.
